Edward D. Rubin Sr. and Bernadette Fontenot Rubin welcomed Chanda Rubin into the world on February 18, 1976, in Lafayette, Louisiana, in the United States. She was the second kid and shared her family with La Shon Rubin-Wilson and Edward Rubin Jr. Edward Rubin Jr., Chanda’s younger brother, passed away unexpectedly in 2016.
